proimporter Release 22.11.0
Equipped with new features, proimporter says farewell to the year 2022!
The Release 22.11.0 comes with new features and improvements for proimporter.
Note: For a smooth performance of the tool, we recommend all customers who are on proimporter version 22.7.0 or below to reinstall version 22.11.0.
New Features
Search function for selecting objects
A search function has been added to the proimporter user interface. With the help of this search window, objects can now be easily filtered by ID. Likewise, the new search window enables the quick selection of desired objects when mapping with already existing data sets in P6.

Extended description of object names for Resources (Names) and Activity Codes (Description)
The mapping window for Resources and ActivityCodes has been extended by the description "Names" and "Description" each. When using the "Use instead" function, existing objects in P6 can thus be better identified.

Saving the database instance and connection in use within the ConnectionManager
The ConnectionManager now stores the last database instance and connection used. At the next login, the last used DB instance is set by default. Furthermore, the selection from the drop-down list is also possible.
Validation Function
New Validation Step: Baselines present in the import file are now matched and validated against IDs already present in P6 based on their ID.
Improvements for the validation function:
- Strengthening the general stability of validation steps
- No more validation of activities if the project is ignored
- Improvement of ID recognition for Global Calendars that are downgraded to project level (if the ID of the downgraded calendar overlaps with a project calendar)
In order to provide you with the best possible performance of proimporter, we have also applied minor bug fixes in the tool.

You will now find e.g. a step-by-step guide to the GUI and a detailed listing of all quick fixes and validation steps that have already been implemented in proimporter. We hope you enjoy reading it!
